Club history
- During 2008–2009 season, „Rūdupis“ first time in the club history became NKL champions.[1] Because of that, BC „Rūdupis“ got his slot in the LKL.
- The 2009–2010 season was „Rūdupis“ debut LKL season. BC „Rūdupis“ took seventh place that season as they lost first round of LKL playoffs to Lithuania powerhouse „Žalgiris“.
- During the 2010–2011 season, BC „Rūdupis“ won LKF Cup Bronze medals[2] and was only one step away from Gold or Silver medals as they lost 73:75 thriller against legendary Lithuania basketball club „Žalgiris“,[3] but the surprises of BC „Rūdupis“ in the 2010–2011 season wasn't done as BC „Rūdupis“ defeated Lithuanian Basketball League champions „Lietuvos Rytas“ with result 96:82, during LKL match at their home arena in 29 March 2011.[4] On 15 April 2011, BC „Rūdupis“ signed contract with Rolandas Alijevas until the end of the season.[5] In the LKL semi finals „Rūdupis“ wasn't able to eliminate Lithuania basketball powerhouse „Lietuvos Rytas“ as they lost both matches (first match: 75:88,[6] second match: 69:96[7]). Because of that, „Rūdupis“ will participate in LKL Bronze final. „Rūdupis“ won first Bronze serie game at Prienai with result 79:65,[8] the second game was successful for „Rūdupis“ once again as they won it in „Juventus“ home arena in Utena with result 98:73.[9] The third game took place in Prienai which „Rūdupis“ won with result 84:83,[10] because of that „Rūdupis“ won serie with result 3:0 and became Lithuanian Basketball League Bronze medalists that season.
